Studio Room 1

has a size of about 38sqm, and is connected by a studio window to the control room allowing direct visual contact. In addition, a singer located in the vocal booth, is able to establish visual contact through the control room's second window. Studio room 1 is visually connected to studio room 2 by a video camera system. Although space is sufficient in studio room 1 to record a standard rock band setup, because of the availability of room 2 and the vocal booth and the good visual contact, live recordings with very good signal separation are possible. Room acoustics in room 1 can be adapted, where a very dry sound can be achieved using acoustic curtains. Additional acoustical elements allow further possibilities for changing the room sound or improve signal separation, where for example separator baffles help to separate amplified guitars from a drum set, even if they are in the same room. The room can be set into different light ambiences due to separate lamp circuitry. In addition room 1 has 3 external windows, which allow to let natural light in and can be opened for a breeze of fresh air.
